Summer is upon us - at last.

That means a new menus using the pick of the crop from our local suppliers

and

England's bid to lift THE WORLD CUP

So that football lovers and football haters can find some common ground we are putting on a BBQ on every day that England plays.

You can take your food indoors and watch the match on our big screen. Waitress service will keep your glasses refreshed.

Or you can sit outside and enjoy the summer, ignoring events in South Africa.

And when it's over the two shall meet again.

 

The staff love barbies, our main kitchen gets pretty hot in the summer, so we are going to host a grown up BBQ every Saturday evening and a family affair every Sunday. They are sure to be enjoyable so make sure you don't miss them

The changes in the menu provide a range of choices in styles to suit everyone but we have not compromised on quality. Our ingredients are carefully sourced to get the best of local and seasonal produce and the kitchen team continue to work their magic in cooking and presenting these satisfying dishes.

I am pleased to report that following this year's inspection we have retained our quality ratings; an AA Rosette for food quality for the fourth year, a Dining Award and 4 AA Stars for accommodation for the eighth consectutive year. We are the only restaurant in Shepton Mallet to hold this coveted combination of awards.
